Earlier today, Lt. Gen. R. Scott Dingle, 45th Surgeon General of the U.S. Army, and Commanding General, United States Army Medical Command, visited Madigan Army Medical Center. Accompanied by Madigan Commander, Col. Christopher Warner, Lt. Gen. Dingle toured Various parts of Madigan, including the Core Lab, which when launched in 2017, was the first fully automated lab in the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). Lt. Gen. Dingle also visited Madigan’s Dental Clinic, greeting and recognizing staff for their efforts, while also observing first-hand some of the innovations and processes in place at Madigan to support readiness and provide care. “The energy you have as a team cannot easily be replicated,” Dingle said. “As a staff it takes hard work, leadership, and passion. To the entire team, thank you for what you do,” Dingle added.

Today Madigan would like to thank all the physicians providing care for our service members and military families. National Doctors’ Day, is an annual observance aimed at appreciating physicians who help save our lives everywhere. The holiday first started in 1933 in Winder, Georgia. Today we continue to celebrate medical advances and thank all doctors everywhere who’ve spent so much time and energy mastering their field of expertise, providing #CareWithCompassion to those in need!#NATIONALDOCTORSDAY #internationaldoctorsday #doctorsday
